CombiMatrix is a clinical diagnostic laboratory specializing in cytogenomic testing for prenatal diagnosis, miscarriage analysis, and pediatric developmental disorders. As a full-scale cytogenetic and cytogenomic laboratory, CombiMatrix offers chromosomal microarray analysis, standard and customized FISH, and high resolution karyotyping to help clinicians better care for their patients.
At CombiMatrix, we pride ourselves on the clinical and molecular diagnostic expertise of our medical team, and the technical expertise of our scientists and laboratory technicians. Everyone at CombiMatrix is committed to providing you with the best care possible.
We are more than just a lab – we are part of your team.
Experience matters when it comes to diagnostic testing. CombiMatrix specializes in microarray analysis, and has been serving the clinical diagnostic needs of the medical community since 2005. At CombiMatrix, our goal is to provide you with results that impact clinical care. That is why CombiMatrix has been an active member of the International Collaboration for Clinical Genomics (formerly the International Standardization for Cytogenomic Arrays Consortium) since its inception, and supports the development of international databases to help gather and curate cytogenomic data.
At CombiMatrix, we maintain a proprietary database of genomic variants which is used in tandem with nationally-available databases to help maximize the clinical utility of our results. Every result is carefully reviewed by our Laboratory Medical Directors and team of genetic counselors, and result interpretations are supported by extensive literature searches, database queries, and the shared clinical expertise of the Medical Team.
CombiMatrix understands the challenges that can arise with insurance coverage for genetic testing. That is why we make patient advocacy a priority. Although many insurance plans do cover the tests that CombiMatrix performs, each plan is different. If an insurance issue arises, our billing team will work hand-in-hand with the patient to address it. And if, after exhausting the appeal process, an agreement with the insurance company cannot be reached, CombiMatrix offers a Patient Protection Plan that help cap the maximum out-of-pocket cost to the patient. At CombiMatrix, we are dedicated to improving access to medically necessary testing, so that all patients can get the care they deserve.
